Congratulations to Myla Romero. She represented our girls golf team last week in the first round of CIF. She did not advance to the second round but was impressive all year round. Myla Romero, Ashley Ko, Rocelyn Lee, and Yuxun Lin were all named to the Palamores All-Academic Team. Our boys’ water polo team had their senior night last week Wednesday. It was a great event and our boys played their hearts out. They fell a bit short as they lost the game 15-16. Football season is now over as they had their last game of the season Friday night. I want to personally thank Coach Morales for a successful season as he has laid the foundation to build upon for the upcoming year. I also would like to thank our football players for buying into the system and never giving up. It will be your commitment that will be remembered as the starting point for upcoming years. Our girls tennis team competed in League finals last week as well. Chloe Wu came in 2nd for singles and Arianna Audelo came in first and was named league MVP. Kristin Sung and Carol Li both were named to the Valle Vista All Academic team.
On Wednesday our Cross Country team will be competing in their final league race. This race will determine league champions and placement into CIF. Good Luck to our girls and boys teams as they look to punch their ticket to CIF play.
